Essential and orderly properties of organic forms, patterns, and systems are revealed in my observations of seemingly chaotic environmental experiences. Material is dissected into stylized images translated much like visual data entry. The outcome of these exercises in observation and dissection as thematic form has become apparent in all of my work including drawings, prints, books, multi-media work and ceramics.

It is my goal to provide my audience with series of concentrated forms, images and when possible, sensory experiences that will perform as examples of the simple rhythms like layers, webs, cracks, and waves. I am in awe of these rhythmic elements and the role of control they play in an often chaotic environment.
