My photographic images are abstract in nature.  I like making images of walls.  To me walls are like giant canvasses that absorb and record our world.  Most of my images were made at places that would normally not be cosidered exactly pictorial or poetic.  Alleys, industrial zones and abandoned buildings are where I look to find walls with the most interesting imagery.  When structural design, time, natural elements, and actions of life all combine in just the right way, a beautiful image can emerge that surprises in unusual ways.  I try with my photography, to make images that function as documentary in nature, as well as personal visual statements.
