I have exhibited at Artwalk in 2005 – 2007 and each year I come up with something a little different than the year before.  This year I am sticking with mixed media and producing a lot of collage work.  Most of my work will feature birds or reproductions of vintage ads.  I find collage material from old books and magazines and adhere them to found wood or foam core.  I look for delicate patterns, bold illustrations, and pictures that reflect meaning in the intended work of art. I am hoping to actually form a “theme” of work because I usually exhibit a multitude of styles and subject matter.  I want the audience to feel nostalgia and a sense of mystery when they view my work.
