Inspired by vintage jewelry designers and fueled by an insatiable compulsion for shopping at estate sales, flea markets, and any place with a dusty old box of trinkets for sale, I started making jewelry about two years ago. A huge pile of broken bits and bobs had built up, old necklaces needed repairing, and all of it needed updating in order to be wearable.  What started as a couple of pieces has now exploded into dozens. Often, I’ll try to mix a new element in with the vintage, like turquoise with antique crystal, to bring something fresh and sassy to a classic look.  Most of the time, the process of making this jewelry is one of the most fun and rewarding things I can do! (Legally that is.)  The prices are meant to be affordable, so that hopefully even broke folks can enjoy these creations. The materials are mostly semi-precious stones, glass, and antique metal elements.
