2306 2nd Avenue North Parking Lot: Artist Bazaar
Born of Russian ancestry, I grew up in Washington D.C., where I began pursuing my love of the arts. As opportunity enveloped, I traveled across Europe exploring the national museums, church's, and local artists. My love and appreciation for the fine arts was growing expansively. Directing this new passion formed my window of art onto the canvas using landscapes and figurative subjects.
I began enrolling in classes at the local university to strengthen my technique for landscape and figurative oil painting. From then on, I developed my own voice in impressionist style using traditional oil on canvas as my preferred media. My work has been showcased in several local art shows including the Carnegie Visual Art Center in Decatur, AL.
In 1995, I participated in an art walk and received an honorable mention. I have also studied with The Huntsville Masters to refine my technique. Most recently, I participated in the Monte Sano Art Festival in 2006. I plan to continue traveling and studying for future subject matters.
