 A native of Nashville, Liz Young has been a professional photographer in Birmingham for over 12 years with a resume that includes portraiture, weddings, product, children, food and editorial photography. Her work has appeared in local and regional magazines including flower, Portico and Birmingham Magazine.

It was only after starting her photo blog “365 Days of Millie” in 2009 that she discovered her absolute delight in dog photography. According to Liz, “dogs are the perfect subject—they never tire of the attention, they rarely get self-conscious in front of the camera, and they are always entertaining.”

Adding an artistic flavor, Liz prints her dog images on oversized gallery wrapped canvases for her clients and displays them in local art shows and charity events where they continue to elicit a positive emotional response from most anyone who sees them.
